Magnet is ideal for handling ferrous plate, round, forgings, die castings or equivalent item in machine shops, warehouses and industrial processing plants. Item’s surface will have to be clean and contact all the length and width of the magnet to correctly engage and release. The surface area of the burden and the proportion of the magnet face in contact with it, will resolve the quantity and size of magnets required for protected handling almost up to the load and thickness of the burden.
Lift flat or round ferrous metal items on contact with nothing between magnet and steel surface; Not made for lifting flexible or stacked items, sheet metal, painted or finish coated surfaces
220 pound/100 KG maximum lift rate for flat surface oriented horizontally, 70 pound/31.75 KG maximum lift rate for curved surface or vertical lift IF steel thickness is 1″ thick. See chart by photo.
Surface condition, thickness and composition of item can all have an effect on the magnet’s lift rate. For safety, breakaway force is 3.5 times greater than the maximum lift rate
Compact design with steel construction, lifting ring, 5.625″ length ON/OFF release lever, magnet “ON” lock and Neodymium
To interact magnet to load, press and hold down the button on top of the release lever and rotate the magnet release lever toward the “ON” position then lock into place by releasing the button
